FUNK at BOLD XXL Netherland and Club Bizarre

Dear FUNK Opticians, 

we are happy to inform you that our Dutch FUNK ambassadors INSIGHTER will welcome you again  to this year's BOLD XXL optical fair in the Netherlands. 

We are presenting our newest models, including a very large selection of our most wanted UNIQUE frames. Each of these pieces is a one-of-a-kind frame, handmade by laminating real natural botanical materials and other exciting elements.

In addition to the main stand, we are proud to be part of CLUB BIZARRE, a special underground exhibition curated by Maarten Weidema of TEF Magazine. 

Here, we are showcasing a small, curated selection focusing on our sustainable manufacturing concepts:

• In-House Acetate Recycling: 

  We are demonstrating how we collect our own acetate shavings and production scraps at our Kinsau manufactory and press them into completely new, recycled frames.

• FUNK X Celion – Frames made from cigarette butts: 

  Discover our newest models made from Celion. This material allows us to create high-quality, safe eyewear frames entirely out of recycled cigarette butts.

• UNIQUE Masterpieces: 

  A closer look at our handcrafted frames featuring natural laminations like wild carrot, conifer, hops, and many more exciting materials.
