Alexandria – named after the legendary city on the Mediterranean, which in ancient times became one of the most important centres of knowledge, science and culture. It was here that people, ideas and stories from across the known world came together. The famous Library of Alexandria symbolised the quest for knowledge and the desire to understand the world.
The Alexandria frame combines this idea of openness and diversity with an extraordinary design language. The delicate titanium frame meets a bespoke acetate rim, creating an intriguing contrast between lightness and striking contours. The combination of materials lends the frame depth and gives it a constantly changing appearance depending on the colour scheme.
Just as different ideas once came together in Alexandria, these glasses also combine various materials and craftsmanship techniques to form a unique whole. Precisely crafted titanium meets carefully fitted acetate – lightweight, full of character and embodying the unmistakable standards of the FUNK eyewear manufactory.
