Near the FUNK Optik store in Berlin-Mitte, we have some very charming neighbours in the Hackesche Höfe: Auerbach – a company that is a true Berlin institution.

In their workshop, you can experience craftsmanship first-hand.
Ties are made in the traditional way, by hand. In the glass-walled workshop, however, you can take a look behind the scenes: watch the extremely charming boss cut the fine Italian fabrics by hand and see how Auerbach ties are sewn and embroidered.

Here at our eyewear factory, we have already laminated some of these fine fabrics and processed them into equally fine eyewear.

Plauen can look back on a long tradition in the lace and embroidery industry. The craft business has existed since 1897 Modespitze Plauen. The company is now in its fourth generation of producing fine lace.

For this reason, Sashee Schuster has endeavoured a small collaboration and embeds the fine lace in acetate. The result is unique and special eyewear, sometimes even with matching earrings made from the remaining sections. 

The Plauener Seidenweberei stands for over 95 years of fabric production specialising in silk. As early as the 1950s, silkworms were bred in Plauen for the production of parachutes.

This many years of experience in handling and processing the natural product silk results in products of a very high standard: bed linen, blankets, covers, accessories and clothing.

Beautiful silks have already been laminated in Sashee's laminating studio.

Dachsbräu was founded in 1879 by Munich brewer Georg Dachs in Weilheim.

Since then, the brewery has always remained in family hands. Today, Ulrich Klose runs the business with his son Günter and daughter Ulrike.

In 2018, Dachsbräu won the gold medal of the European Beer Star Awards in the "German Style Festbier" category and the silver medal in the "Consumer's Favourite" category with its "Weilheimer Festbier". Today, the brewery is Weilheim's last.

Since 2018, we have found a beer partner in Dachs to supply our numerous events, be it the "opti" in Munich or our 30th anniversary in 2022. We also serve it to our customers in the shops.

Obwohl wir 1992 in München FUNK gegründet haben und bis zum Umzug nach Kinsau dem Augustiner treu waren, müssen wir sagen, dass wir Dachs nicht mehr missen möchten. Danke Euch!

There are three guys in Munich who have a studio and who have been with us for a long time. We have grown so fond of them because they are not only great people, but also experts in their field.

Be it taking perfect portraits, interviews (which are fun), drone flights through the smallest cracks of a building, slick stills, ... we think the three guys have no limits when it comes to pictures or videos.

The three are Markus Finsterwald, Ben Konte and Patrick Spaeth.

They were called FSK back then, when we had various intensive projects, which we present here.
Now they have become sgr7, which sounds a little more innocuous ;o)

Although almost all of us here are camera-shy, we still allowed ourselves to be photographed and filmed, which is quite something.
