The principle is uncompromising: We use real nature. With hours of meticulous handcrafting at the FUNK manufactory, designer Sashee Schuster arranges real blooms, iridescent bird feathers, seeds, spices, shimmering pigments, or fine silk onto the raw acetate.

The Craft: Using a laminating technique we have refined to perfection over decades, this composition is sealed within the material forever. The result is eyewear with a depth, brilliance, and vibrancy that no machine on earth can copy.
