EPONA – The goddess who refuses to be tamed...
EPONA is a Celtic name and represents the goddess of horses. If you’re picturing a petting zoo, you’re mistaken. This is about freedom, pride and the kind of elegance that needs no permission.
Forget the prim and proper ‘secretary look’ of conventional cat-eye glasses. The EPONA has a flair that doesn’t scream “Take dictation, please”, but rather “I know exactly where I’m riding to”.
Our soul in the colour: FUNK-ACETATE.
What’s special about this series?
We didn’t just order sheets; we fired up our own acetate sheet machine in Kinsau. Using pure acetate granulate, we mixed three colours in-house that are exclusive to us. We proudly call this FUNK-ACETATE.
The three new additions to the collection:
Cotton Candy (Matte Pink):
A delicate, matte pink. It is light, fluffy and soft – a colour that instantly lifts your spirits and evokes carefree moments. Matt petrol green: An incredibly beautiful shade. It is a vibrant, matt petrol green that stands out yet remains elegant – a colour that combines naturalness with urban chic.

Nightshade:
Here, things take a mysterious turn. A dark violet combined with grey. Depending on the light, the glasses appear almost black until you discover the deep, violet sheen.

Naturally, we at EPONA have made no compromises on quality. The frame is fitted with durable, high-quality rivet hinges, which we fit into the acetate frame by hand. This not only ensures stability and smoothness every time you open and close the glasses, but is also a testament to our credo: True Optics. Real Craft.
